Peterborough's Rising Talent Show Their Stuff

2009 winner Carter MahoneyIn 2009, 72 talent routines competed against each other to find the best act in Peterborough in the Top Talent Search. Carter Mahoney won with a fantastic juggling act.
This year, Peterborough's rising talent has grown even further and we now have two talent shows: Top Talent Search and a new one, Search 4 A Star. Here's more info on both:
Top Talent Search
Currently finishing up auditions, Top Talent Search has opened their online voting at TopTalentSearch.ca. Their site allows you to view auditions and vote on your favourite. The top twelve will compete at the Little Lake Musicfest on August 18th in front of a panel of judges who will pick the winner.

Search 4 A Star
Search 4 A Star is already underway down at the Peterborough Square outdoor food court each Friday night in July (it's free to attend and starts each week at 6:30 p.m.). After the contestants have been whittled down—here's some of the performances so far—there will be a qualifying show on August 20th and the grand finale on December 29th, both held at Showplace.
