Junior Achievement of Peterborough, Lakeland, and Muskoka’s mandate is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Their goal is to transform students to have a long term positive economic impact on our communities by encouraging them to explore and experience the power of business education programs.

In an extremely competitive non-profit sector, JA is unique in their commitment to ensure that students in our rural territories receive the same quality programming as those in urban communities. Their plan for 2015-2016 is to ensure that all students who participate in any of their programs leave with a solid understanding of their Three Pillars: Entrepreneurship, Work Readiness and Financial Literacy.

For a quick taste of who’s involved in the culinary showcase at the event, here are an appetizing list of participants:

Well Grounded by Kollene Drummond, Shafiq's Taste of India, Lighthouse Garden and Farms, Fresh Dreams, Dolce Vita, The Magic Rolling Pin, BE Catering (vegetarian option), Vegan Sweet Home, Elmhirst Resort, Oxford Parlour and Patio (Whisky Tasting), Amuse Coffee (coffee and tea), Colio Estate Wines.

This special Business Hall Of Fame evening will be an opportunity to support a great cause which has proven to give back to our community, and there will be the potential to win some fantastic raffle prizes.

Attendees will learn about local history, celebrate both the past and present, dig in to some amazing food and drink, and dance the night away to live music courtesy of 4 Front. Did we mention that there will be some awesome raffle prizes, too?
