SYNOPSIS: Everyone’s favourite family is back! This time on the big stage dealing with every father’s nightmare. The dark and gloomy Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet young boy from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. To top it off, Wednesday then confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams must do the unthinkable: keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia. One dinner, one average family, one “normal” night. What could possibly go wrong? It’s The Addams Family Musical for the whole family!

The Peterborough Theatre Guild presents the award-winning Broadway musical The Addams Family on stage April 27th to May 12th. This clever and energetic hit musical is one you do not want to miss, according to its Co-Directors Lucas De Luca and Elizabeth Moody.

This musical has it all—large unique dance numbers, amazing music, vocals through the roof and an incredible mix of new and veteran actors from the Peterborough community!

It has something everyone will love, whether you’re young or old and regardless if you’ve seen The Addams Family before the play.

The Addams Family Musical has made its way across the Broadway stage and has been nominated for 2 Tony Awards and 8 Drama Desk awards, winning best set design.

The Guild has many amazing hands working behind the scenes to make this musical come to life. The amazing set was designed by the award winning Al Tye, Musical Direction by Justin Hiscox, Vocal Direction by local choir director and show star Brian MacDonald, and two of the youngest directors in Peterborough Theatre Guild history, Lucas De Luca and Elizabeth Moody.
