Twelve Angry Jurors
by Reginald Rose
Adapted by Sherman L. Sergel
Directed by Keith Smith
Twelve Angry Jurors is a mixed cast presentation of the classic, Twelve Angry Men.
In late summer, after standing on trial for the fatal stabbing of his father, the fate of a 19-year-old man hangs in the balance. In a bleak jury room, one of the 12 jurors begins opening the others’ eyes to the facts. Things begin to get personal as each juror reveals his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder is re-enacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes!
Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become 12 angry men and women.
The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it, in tense scenes, add up to a fine, mature piece of classic, dramatic theatre.
