  • 90 Hunter St E Peterborough, ON, K9H 1G4 Canada (map)

Jamaican Self-Help is hosting its annual Artisan Show and Sale with proceeds benefitting education and community-based projects in Jamaica. Over 20 local artisans will present a diverse selection of quality art and craft. Artisans will donate 15% of all sales to Jamaican Self-Help.

Open November 22nd through 23rd, the Artisan Show and Sale features an impressive range of unique hand-crafted items including pottery, woodturning, basketry, jewelry, weaving, metal work, fabric and nature-based art, photography, and much more. Shoppers will have an opportunity to meet the artisans and witness live demonstrations while enjoying the festive atmosphere of Mark Street United Church.

“At this juried show, you’ll find the highest quality of artistry. It’s a perfect place to begin your Christmas shopping and find special and unique gifts!” says Kim Kasperski, Chair of the Artisan Show and Sale Organizing Committee.

The event will include a silent auction featuring items donated by artisans. A variety of fresh baked goods will also be for sale. Admission is free but donations at the door are greatly appreciated. Debit, Visa and MasterCard accepted. For more information, visit www.jshcanada.org
