Peterborough Ontario - Friday October 17th at 9pm, The Ike Stubblefield Band will perform at the Gordon Best Theatre on their fall canadian tour. This venue has been chosen by Zapp Productions for it's intimate theatre setting, historic feel and great acoustics. Music lovers are encouraged to purchase advance tickets to this 128 capacity seated event.

Ike Stubblefield has been making music nearly 50 years, working with names like Phil Spector and Quincy Jones. Hammond B3 Virtuoso Ike Stubblefield became a music industry legend by backing Motown artists The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves, Stevie Wonder, and Rare Earth. He lent his R&B style to Al Green, Ike & Tina Turner, Curtis Mayfield, the Pointer Sisters, and George Benson. His recent collaborations include grammy award artist Cee Lo Green, Derek Trucks Band and guest performances with Warren Hayes, Gov' Mule, The Almond Brothers and Zac Brown Band.

The Ike Stubblefield band consist of guitarist Shawn Kellerman. Kellerman has been nominated for maple blues guitarist of the year, and won a blues music award for acoustic blues album of the year. Kellerman has toured 35 countries in 18 years with artists like Jerome Godboo, Carlos Del Junco, Bobby Rush, and Lucky Peterson. Award winning drummer Drew Austin has toured with Lee Oskar (WAR), Anthony Gomes, Grant Green Jr., Jumpin' Johnny Sansone, David Rotundo, Irene Torres & The Sugar Devils, and members of John Lee Hooker, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Jeff Healy, Edgar Winter, and the Spindoctors.
