Rocket Revue New Year's Eve Show

Ring in the new year with Peterborough`s swinginest, rockinest rhythm and blues band, The Rocket Revue, this New Year’s Eve at The Trentwinds! 

This show will feature the large scale version of `The Rocket,` with special guests, BEAU DIXON and JANE ARCHER. The Revue is 11 players and counting, featuring the dynamic Rocket rhythm section: Brent Bailey on keys and vocals, Al Black on drums and vocals, Andy Pryde on bass, Gary Peeples on guitar and vocals and Shea Bailey on congas and percussion.

As always, it is the sheer power of the horn section that drives, and defines the unique sound of the Rocket Revue. The horn section consists of: Jim Usher on tenor sax, Steve McCracken on baritone and alto sax, Rob Roy on trombone and band leader Greg Weichel on trumpet.

With 5 different lead singers, the band's musical repertoire is extensive, covering over 88 years of jazz, blues, rock, soul, and R&B. There will always be music to please all tastes. 

Tickets can be purchased in advance at The Trentwinds on Lansdowne Street East or at Moondance on George Street (on the west side between Brock and Hunter). Ticket cost is $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Doors open at 8pm for general admission table seating and the show starts at 9pm. Admission includes table munchies and party favours at midnight.
