Toastmasters: One Hour, Three Inspiring Speeches

On Tuesday March 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Naturally Speaking Toastmasters will be holding their weekly meeting with three engaging speakers scheduled to present. The public is invited to attend this free event which will be held in the Fireside Lounge at Empress Gardens (131 Charlotte Street).

Speaking on a range of topics, Stephen Schwab, Laura White and Patricia Workman will demonstrate their public speaking skills and will be then critiqued by their peers. This process of speaking followed by receiving constructive criticism provides instant feedback and helps the audience members better understand the qualities of strong public speakers. The meeting will also feature an impromptu speaking segment.

Currently celebrating its 90th Anniversary, Toastmasters is an international organization that helps people develop public speaking and leadership skills. The Naturally Speaking Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday at Empress Gardens from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
