JAMES KEELAGHAN (Canada)
For a quarter century now, this poet laureate of the folk and roots music world has gone about his work with a combination of passion, curiosity, and intensity. This has earned Keelaghan many awards, JUNO nominations and acclaim from Australia to Scandinavia. ARCHIE FISHER (Scotland)
Born in Glasgow in 1939 this master guitarist, singer and songwriter, Archie Fisher, is Scotland’s foremost troubadour. Fisher is known throughout the country as the host of BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning “Travelling Folk” show, which he has been presenting for over 25 years ; he has interviewed all the greats in the folk music world. Archie Fisher was inducted into the Scots Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2006 and was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth. (Check Fisher on youtube)

JEZ LOWE (England)
Jez Lowe, both solo and with his band The Bad Pennies, has been playing their songs and music of Northern England for years around the folk festivals, clubs and concert stages of the world. Surely one of England’s best songwriters, his songs have been covered by Fairport Convention, Liam Clancy, The Dubliners and hundreds of others. Lowe has recorded 20 albums over the past 30 years and is in huge demand around the world, his concerts are magical. www.jezlowe.com
