7th annual annual family-friendly Red Pashmina Walk, Sunday April 23 at Emmanuel United Church (formerly George St. United). Registration begins at 1 p.m. with the walk at 2 p.m. Sponsored by the Peterborough chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan.
Money raised will support the education of women and girld in Afghanistan.There will be refreshments after the walk and a prize awarded to the walker who raises the most money. There will also be time to shop for Afghan needlework, "tree of knowledge" mugs and red pashminas. Wear your red pashmina!
