The Philosopher Kings came onto the scene in 1994 with their eponymous debut album, which spawned the hit single Charms and earned gold status in Canada. Their critical and popular breakthrough occurred with the release of their platinum-selling 1997 follow-up, Famous, Rich and Beautiful. The Juno award-winning group took a hiatus a decade ago as the five-piece band focused on other projects. To the delight of their ardent fans, the quintet of Gerald Eaton (vocals), Denton Whited (drums), Jon Levine (keyboard), James Bryan (guitar), and Brian West (guitar) have returned this year with a renewed focus and new material.
