This is an event for owners and those fostering dogs to get out and enjoy a walk with other dogs and humans. This event is for all dogs regardless of behaviour problems, so please don't feel like you need to leave your dog at home! I just ask that he or she be muzzled for the safety of the other dogs and humans. And since this event is open to all dogs, please don't allow your dog to meet any of the other participants, they might not appreciate a strange dog walking up to them.
We will meet at Del Crary park, and take advantage of some of the amazing trails downtown Peterborough has to offer! I will go over some tips for teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash as well as the tools I prefer to use, and why I use
them.
There is absolutely no extendible or flexi leashes allowed for this event! Please have your dog in a standard 4 or 6 foot leash. All other training tools are permitted as long as they are being used responsibly.
