Impress guests at the next potluck by bringing a handcrafted wooden spoon with your dish that was carved by your very own hands!

Join woodworker Bethanie Kaye on Tuesday July 24th to learn the fundamental techniques of woodcarving that is rewarding and totally practical! Bethanie will discuss the importance of wood selection, tool safety & variations, as well as non-toxic, eco-friendly finishes and the after care of your project.

Each participant will design, carve and bring home a beautifully crafted wooden spoon.

Please note that the use of VERY sharp carving tools will be used throughout the workshop and we ask that participants come prepared to pay attention and go slowly when learning to carve.

All supplies (and snacks!) will be provided for you.

$80/person*

Tuesday July 24th, 6:30-9pm.

Watson & Lou, 383 Water Street

* Please note tickets are non refundable but are transferable.
