The Purple Onion Festival is a family festival with free admission and something for everyone to enjoy. From tasty nibbles to festive fun, this is a festival you’re not going to want to miss out on.

The Taste of the Kawarthas features 9 of Kawartha's finest chefs serving samples of their delicious, nutritious, locally grown food sourced from local farmers.
Relax, sing and dance along as you listen to this amazing line up of Live Local Music hosted by Sunstage Entertainment throughout the day
Electric Vehicle Meet~ The EV Meet is returns this year and will feature new electric cars and E Bikes from Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai and Green Street E Bikes. As an exciting addition, we will be adding music and food for extra entertainment while you enjoy this year’s EV Meet. Bring your Electric Vehicles and join in on the fun.
Kids and youth will have plenty to do at our Active Kids corner, Eat Local Challenge Wall, Dance For The Climate, Earth Rights Rock – Youth Challenge, and our famous Proud In Purple Parade.
