Drug Deal Goes Totally Wrong In The Washroom At Simcoe Street Bus Terminal

Robbery/drug Arrest:
On the 13th of July, the accused Michael William MacKenzie age 20 and Rheanna Barker age 19, both of Alma Street in Norwood, made arrangements to meet with accused Bradley Robert Haggith age 27 of Chamberlain Street so they could purchase drugs from him. They met at approximately 11:00 am at the Simcoe Street Bus terminal. MacKenzie and Haggith went to complete the transaction in the washroom. It is alleged that MacKenzie attempted to leave with a bag containing approximately 100 Ecstasy pills without paying for them. A physical altercation ensued and Haggith was assaulted. Security entered the washroom and the police were called. During the investigation, MacKenzie attempted to mislead the police and report he was the victim of a robbery. He has been arrested and charged with robbery and public mischief. Reanna Barker was arrested and charged with robbery. They were held in custody and will appear in court later this morning. Haggith was arrested and  while being searched he was found to be in possession of approximately 5 grams of marihuana and approximately 1 gram of cocaine. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He has been released and will appear in court on the 4th of August.
