Canada 150 Turtle Hatchling Release Event!

Join us to release a clutch of snapping turtles at beautiful Ken Reid Conservation Area on July 7th, 2017, from 1pm - 4pm!! (Rain Day July 14th)

The Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre collects eggs from injured turtles, incubates them, and hatches them. As a result, hundreds of hatchlings (baby turtles) are raised at the OTCC through their first winter, and are released into the wild the following summer. By this time, they are bigger, stronger, and better able to handle the challenges they will face in their habitats.

We will be featuring a raffle to win a chance to help release one of the hatchlings, and we will have OTCC merchandise for sale. Please note that all purchases must be made using cash only!!

Our Upcoming Events section is brought to you by Patrick McAuley of Bowes & Cocks LTD Brokerage.
