PTBOCanada Featured Post: Canadiana Cabinets Makes People's Cabinet Dreams Come True

Whether you live in a home, condo or apartment, there is a good chance that you have cabinets somewhere in your residence. You probably have quite a few in your kitchen, and likely a few more in other rooms around your place (we’re looking at you, bathroom).

Live in a van down by the river? You might be out of luck. Ever wonder where these cabinets came from? Likely not, but whether they’re old or new, rustic or retro, they had to come from somewhere at some point.

When people think about cabinets, chances are that a majority think generic, big box store brand and about little else. Walk in, pick out a few boxes from a bin and throw them up on the wall. Sounds simple and easy enough, right?

But why go with the status quo when you can customize your desired area to make everything fit as efficiently as possible, and do it all with products made right here in our community?

The team at Canadiana Cabinets: Making people's cabinet dreams come true

Wondering who does that, and does it incredibly well? Meet Canadiana Cabinets—located just outside of our city limits in Springville, in the old Stickling’s Bakery building—who have been making people’s cabinet dreams come true for more than 25 years now. They combine quality and craftsmanship without compromise.

Canadiana Cabinets

In business since 1990, supplying kitchens for Royal Homes (which they still do), Canadiana Cabinets has undergone many transformations over the years to bring it to where it is today.

With Bill Barker at the helm, this family run business has gone from renting space in the Royal Homes factory in the early '90s, to working out of the Peterborough industrial park and supplying to builders across the province, until they recently decided to refocus their efforts and offer their products in a fully custom boutique shop where individual customers can have their ideas brought to life at a reasonable cost.

Canadiana Cabinets opened a showroom at their plant in early 2016 and haven’t looked back. In fact, since their success working out of the industrial park in 2011, they have tripled their number of highly skilled and hardworking employees from six at that point to 18 today.

The craftsmanship Canadiana Cabinets performs is truly phenomenal, but until you sit back and consider how the products are created you might not fully appreciate the outcome. Nice cabinets are easy to take for granted until you don’t have them.

These guys truly start everything from scratch, completing each project from A to Z under the same roof. Their strength lies in their passion for building beautiful functional cabinets suited to everyone’s needs and taste.

While some people might want cookie cutter, Canadiana Cabinets is happy to work with even the most elaborate of plans. On site, they’re producing cabinets for home and office daily. Whether you want a complete redesign of an entire kitchen or simply a few new cupboard doors, they guarantee the finest results.

They have created serveries for nursing homes, jewelers display cabinets, dental office cabinets, restaurant bars, wall units, collectors display cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-in fire place cabinets, and have even supplied for movie sets.

How do they make it all happen? Through ingenuity and a lot of hard work. Using sophisticated software and CNC equipment for accuracy and speed, they begin manufacturing your order which can include European frameless and hand-made inset door face frame cabinets.
