Peterborough Police Investigating Shooting at Crystal Drive; Hold and Secure Has Been Lifted

The Peterborough Police Service are continuing to investigatie a shooting at 572 Crystal Drive near the Otonabee Drive and Bensfort Road area that occurred early Friday morning.

The incident happened at roughly 5 a.m. The suspect is still outstanding and may have a firearm. 

Officers have completed a grid search of the area. The suspect is still outstanding and could still have a firearm.

The Peterborough Police Service believes that this is an isolated incident between parties that are known to each other.

The area has been re-opened and the hold and secure have been lifted for two area schools.
