PTBOCanada Featured Post: Flying Colours Corp. Two-Day Recruitment Event

Flying Colours Corp., the North American maintenance, repair and overhaul business, is taking on the recruitment challenge by hosting two recruitment events in its hometown of Peterborough on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11.

The events will be held in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes region at the Hampton Inn (3900 Fisher Dr.)

A combination of roles will be highlighted, with openings for cabinet makers, upholsterers, painters and decorators showcasing alongside quality control and interior installation experts. Recent graduates, skilled craftspeople, or those willing to learn new skills in a highly buoyant sector will be interested in this recruitment event. At Flying Colours Corp. you’ll earn a good salary with benefits and work in a dedicated aviation environment at the Peterborough Airport.

“We have a full order book and are looking to employ workers from all sectors. Many of the skills we seek are transferable from other industries, such as the automotive trade, interior decorating, boat fitting, woodworking and construction fields. For some roles, we are not looking for experience, just willingness to join a great business headquartered in Peterborough for over forty years,” says Flying Colours director of human resources Ian Ross.

Flying Colours aims to attract willing and dedicated workers who want to demonstrate their skills in a thriving work environment, and the family-owned business says they are excited to add enthusiastic talent to its diverse workforce.

Over the two days, Flying Colours executives will be attracting new and existing talent to join the family business, which has an extensive pipeline of work for the foreseeable future. Human resource and technical professionals will be on hand to meet prospects and discuss opportunities.

“Our work contributes to saving lives, driving the global economy, and keeping the world’s favourite entertainers and sports teams on tour. Our team makes a difference to our world, which is why we value them so much,” says Ross.

To pre-schedule a meeting before the Feb. 10 or Feb. 11 events, resumes can be sent in advance to HR@flyingcolourscorp.com with ‘FCCN Careers’ in the subject line.
