Repeat Sex Offender At Large After Fleeing From Residence After a Search Warrant; Peterborough Police Issue Public Safety Alert
/The Peterborough Police Service has issued a public safety alert and is searching for a repeat sexual offender Jason Outhwaite who fled from his residence shortly after a search warrant was conducted there on Thursday.

The evidence recovered, as a result of the search warrant, has led Investigators to believe that reasonable and probable grounds exist for charges of possession of child pornography. A warrant for the arrest of the 46-year-old for possession of child pornography has been issued.
It is believed Outhwaite is operating an older-style white Dodge Ram pick-up truck with Ontario License plate ‘BW88604.’
Outhwaite is described as:
5’9 and 190 lbs.
Medium build
Receding black and grey hair and brown eyes
He is known to wear prescription glasses
