Peterborough-based hard rock band Super Quest—comprised of Roger Sage, John Whitten, Alex Donchak and Tyler McIntyre—has a massive hit on their hands with their hilarious tongue-in-cheek How to Death Metal video riff on YouTube. The band has been giving How To music tutorial videos on their YouTube channel, but this one with John Witten is their breakout hit. Well played boys. It has gone viral, with nearly 900,000 views since being uploaded November 12th, and will most certainly hit a million. (Warning, NSFW.) If you're not at work, turn it up and watch for yourself...

Several hundred people flocked to The Market Hall in downtown Peterborough last night to take in Strutt Central's Strutt 4 Kids Fashion Show. The event featured fashion from several local stores and raised more than $25,000 for Five Counties Children's Centre. Not only did the event showcase the latest fashions but it was also a chance for Deejay Dassylva to showcase her athleticism. Deejay, a member of the local fire spinning troupe The Pyro Flys, wowed the crowd with this jaw dropping hoola hoop act below.
Also, Theresa Longo was one of the guest emcees at last night's Strutt 4 Kids; she walked the runway plus introduced the latest clothing lines from Flavour Fashion, Plush Boutique and Save Our Soles. Here she is...

This is the latest episode of John Grant Jr.'s popular trick shots videos (6th overall) and the first to be filmed in his hometown of Peterborough—and was shot by CHEX TV's Tyler Calver. Legends collide in the latest installment of 4 Shots With John Grant Junior as the living legend John Grant Jr. takes his trick shots to the legendary Peterborough Lift Lock. Grant recently sold his home in Peterborough as well as the Montreal House bar to make the permanent move to Denver where he has played the last three seasons with the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. Last week, Junior was traded from his other pro lacrosse team, the Chesapeake Bayhawks, to the Denver Outlaws (Major League Lacrosse).
