Growing Peterborough Snow Polar Bear Family Has Become Feel Good Winter Story Of 2020
/What started out as a solo Mama Snow Bear has grown with the addition of two cubs, and what’s shaping to be the most adorable, feel good story of the winter in Peterborough.
These “polar bears” near George and Parkhill have become a major attraction for passers-by, with the community basically “adopting” these bears as their own.
With each new cub lovingly created and designed, it’s like the community is having another baby.
The comments are pouring in on our Facebook post of the new cub addition from a great photo taken by Christine Liu.
”Hats off to the creators of this, you have brought so much joy to passers by!!”, said one commenter. “What a happy sight to drive past every day. Thank You,” said another. “Pass by everyday on school bus, kids love it. Thank you for doing this,” still another person added.
Check out our Facebook post below to see all the awesome comments…
It will melt our hearts when the Spring thaw comes and these bears melt away. But the memories this family has created for parents and kids alike will not be forgotten, and perhaps they’ll be back next Winter.
