Chemong Road/Reid Street Widening Public Information Centre Meeting Next Tuesday

The City of Peterborough is holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) next Tuesday (March 20th) in regards to the potential Chemong Road/Reid Street widening.

The PIC will be held at the Northminster United Church (300 Sunset Boulevard) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a presentation at 7:00 pm and a discussion period afterwards.

This is the second Public Information Centre that has been held in regards to this and feedback from the first has been "reviewed by the study team and incorporated into the evaluation of new and/or revised alternative designs."

Zellers Closing Sales Have Begun To Make Way For Walmart

As first reported last Fall, the Zellers in Peterborough is closing and being replaced by a Target, er, second Walmart location. Prices have been marked down drastically and will continue to do so as they reach their official close date in June.
