The Keene United Church Concert Series is presenting Welcome Winter! …just don’t stay too long!, a Variety Show of local talent on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Keene United Church, 30 North Street in the village of Keene southeast of Peterborough.  Proceeds from this event will go the North Shore Public School Playground Project, that still needs $8000.00 to complete their plan.
 
The show features actor and singer Beau Dixon, with songs, stories, dance, comedy, and instumental music to entertain us as we head into the winter season.  The Keene Community Choir and a Children’s Choir will round out the show.
 
The Keene United Church Concert Series has hosted many concerts which have raised over $20,000.00 for various charities such as Food for Kids Peterborough, the Crossroads Safe haven Project, Peterborough Youth Emergency Shelter, Typhoon Haiyan Relief, and Habitat for Humanity.  This year it’s time to assist the children of Keene to have an interesting and safe place to play.
 
Tickets are $10.00 with kids 12 and under free. Individuals and businesses are welcome to become sponsors for the concert.  Receipts are available for donations over $20.00.  Help our kids be healthy and active.
