Lennie Gallant is having a busy and brilliant year, starring in the outstanding production, ‘Searching for Abegweit’ The Island Songs and Stories of Lennie Gallant in Charlottetown, releasing a new live CD ‘Live Acoustic At The Carleton’ and launching a cooperative new book, ‘Peter’s Dream’ with his sister, visual artist Karen Gallant.

This prolific songwriter from Rustico, P.E.I. has recorded 10 albums (eight in English, two in French) which have won him a host of awards from the JUNOS, East Coast Music Awards and Les Prix Eloizes. He has been named to the Order of Canada and recently received the 2013 PEI Red Cross Humanitarian Award. His songs have been recorded by many artists and featured in films, theatre productions and on television.
