Event Description:  

On April 8, 2015, the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster will host its first Hands-ON. “Hands-ON”, as the event series will be known, is designed to be a series of interactive workshops that will support the growth ambitions of local entrepreneurs.

Hands-ON workshops will take place in a small group setting designed to develop the skills needed by early-stage entrepreneurs to successfully start and grow their ventures.

Hands-ON is all about helping to increase the success of our current and future entrepreneurs.

For the launch of this series the Cluster will be partnering with Toni Orsi of Bereskin & Parr Intellectual Property Law, who will be presenting on "Intellectual Property - What Businesses Need to Know"Intellectual property (IP) rights are important strategic assets that should be part of business planning right from the start. This workshop will go over the different types of IP rights and how they may be used together to benefit your business.

Tony Orsi is a partner and patent agent with over 12 years of experience in patents.
