The Beach Party Boys return to the Kawartha region to once again open up the gates of Summer! Last year’s almost sold out appearance in Lindsay garnered many fans of the Beach Boys with an overwhelming response! ~ Since 2010 it’s been non-stop touring with not only performing the Beach Boys’ Greatest Hits but also as their mission statement reads; to awaken the teenage of hearts of those who first heard the Beach Boys in the 1960s. And it’s all done with many nostalgic anecdotes by the leader Fernando Curcione who recounts growing up in an Italian household where he introduced his Opera listening parents to rock ‘n’ roll while carrying around his trusty transistor radio by his side. For all Beach Boys fans and those who love summer and the great music it brings, come out and celebrate the beginning of Summer at Showplace Performance Center in Peterborough on Saturday June 20.
