Peterborough Theatre Guild: 4000 Miles

Peterborough Theatre Guild Presents: 4000 Miles

When 21 year-old Leo suffers a major loss while he was on a cross-country bike trip, he seeks solace from his feisty 91 year-old grandmother Vera in her West Village apartment. Over the course of a single month, these roommates infuriate, bewilder, and ultimately reach each other. A Pulitzer Prize finalist, 4000 Miles is an extraordinary dramatic comedy about the ways in which familial relationships can close distances and cross generations, and about how when we run from grief, we learn incredible things that we take for granted about people, and about ourselves.

"A funny, moving, altogether wonderful drama. . . A heartening reminder that a keen focus on life's small moments can pay off in a big way onstage." - The New York Times
