Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services Annual Fundraising Gala “All about Love” will take place this April 23rd at 7:00 pm at The Venue. The 2016 gala will feature guest speaker The Honourable Dr. Kellie Leitch. The event will also feature entertainment, and live and silent auctions. Level A Professional Group and The Staffing Connection are proud presenting sponsors of this event.
Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services (PPSS) is a non-profit organization that is run by a Board of Directors. The organization relies on the donations from their annual gala to operate. "Every woman deserves to be heard and supported in a safe and loving place when faced with an unplanned pregnancy,” says Helen De Luna, Executive Director of PPSS. “Everyone who is part of our team has such a caring heart. We ask that you please help support our organization so that we can continue to provide services to the Peterborough community.”
This year’s gala co-chairs are Catia Skinner from the Kawartha Entertainment Group and Mega Experience, and Steve Daynes from Level A Professional Group and The Staffing Connection. They are both working with the Board of Directors on the event planning. “I am excited about the 30th anniversary of PPSS and their upcoming major expansion,” says Daynes. “I believe in the services that they offer and the value they bring to the people in the Peterborough area.”
Catia Skinner adds, “I feel that education is an important piece of the services PPSS provides to expecting parents. The funds raised at this gala will ensure men and women in our community have the support they need during an unplanned pregnancy. Everything PPSS does is really all about love.”
Tickets for the All About Love Annual Fundraising Gala can be purchased on the Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services website, as well as at The Venue and PPSS. Tickets are $125, and VIP tickets are $250. Those who purchase VIP tickets will be part of a special VIP cocktail reception at 6:00 pm with guest speaker The Honourable Dr. Kellie Leitch.
