The 47th annual Peterborough Regional Science Fair is taking place on Tuesday, April 6th, 2016 in the Science Facilities at Trent University. This is a day-long event that concludes with an awards ceremony scheduled for 3:30 pm in the Wenjack Theatre at the University.  There are over five thousand dollars’ worth of prizes and awards to be given out at the fair in several different divisions to participants from Grade 1 to Grade 12 . The top participants win an “all expenses paid” trip to compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Montreal, Quebec.   Our region consists of Public and Catholic School Boards in the Peterborough, Lindsay and Clarington areas as well as Private Schools and home schoolers.  The cost for a student to enter their science project is $10.00, or $15.00 for a project presented by two students.  For more information about the fair please visit www.peterboroughsciencefair.com
