Peterborough Area Roller Derby (or PARD) is always looking for new skaters and skating referees, with opportunities for both men and women. The next Fresh Meat intake is scheduled to start in mid September 2017, and will cater to both absolute beginner skaters and to those who already have strong quad roller skating skills. For more information, or to sign up, please visit PARD’s website: http://www.pard-rollerderby.com/.
Peterborough Area Roller Derby was formed on March 31, 2015 as Area 705 and Peterborough Roller Derby Leagues joined forces for the consolidation and celebration of flat track roller derby in the Peterborough Area, and incorporated as a not-for-profit in 2016. PARD works hard to promote a strong and positive image for local athletes. Home bouts happen at the Douro Arena and Community Centre, while teams also travel across Ontario to compete.
