Megan Murphy, Film Maker

Megan Murphy, Film Maker (MURPHY’S LAW)
Friday, February 16, 2018 - 2:00 pm
Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street
Peterborough, Ontario

Inspired by her father’s diary of a bicycle trip he took in southern Ireland at 26 years of age. Megan Murphy recreated that same journey on the same two-wheeler 40 years later. In turn, that led to the film “Murphy’s Law: A Documentary: which won an award at the Fingal Film Festival in Ireland. Megan considers it a tribute to her father’s ride through a beautiful and sacred country. Of course, Megan has an impressive list of other accomplishments. She has worked as an actor and radio host on 93.3 MyFM and 107.9 Classic Rock, and even produced another notable film titled “Shelf Life”.
One has the distinct sense that more adventures are ahead for Megan.
