The City of Peterborough is reviewing the 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan: Have your say on housing and homelessness.
The vision of the current 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan is to “Eliminate long-term homelessness and ensure quality housing that all residents can afford.” The plan is currently under review and the community is invited to give feedback into the next five years of housing and homelessness planning for the City and County of Peterborough.
A key part of the Housing and Homelessness Plan Review is community consultation, where City staff are going to locations throughout the City and County to speak directly to residents about their views on housing and homelessness.
Residents and community partners are invited to join one of two large consultation sessions at Peterborough Square to learn about the Plan and have their say on the next five years of housing and homelessness planning.

Wednesday, November 28: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The Plan Review includes the creation of a new Steering Committee and Working Group structure to ensure there is ongoing progress towards goals and commitments. The Steering Committee and Working Groups will have community members and people with lived experience as well as elected officials and staff from community agencies and the City and County of Peterborough.
Results of consultation will be shared in 2019. The new 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan will be submitted to the Province by June 30, 2019 and the reviewed plan will go to City and County Councils
