Podcast Story Meeting

Join us in creating Season Two of Peterborough Currents — the podcast about Peterborough and the Kawarthas. We tell stories of the politics, art, culture and people that make our city.

Following our first pilot season, we're switching up our format, and moving toward a monthly schedule (third Monday of the month) with longer episodes that focus on a theme.

(draft topic line-up)
Episode One: Housing (Feb. 19)
Episode Two: Food (Mar. 19)
Episode Three: Environment (Apr. 16)
Episode Four: Safety/Security (May 21)
Episode Five: Kids (Jun. 18)
Episode Six: Literature (Jul. 16)
Episode Seven: Work and Labour (Aug. 20)

Join us at our story meetings to get involved. Or send us an email peterboroughcurrents@gmail.com

Story meetings are held at Sadleir House (751 George St N) in the PIP office, on the third floor. If you have any mobility concerns, please let us know and we'll reschedule to an accessible room.

Got a story for us that doesn't fit in a theme? We can upload that between our longer episodes.

We are open to ideas from folks with all levels of experience. We can help you get your story radio ready with mentorship through Peterborough Independent Podcasters.

We're a volunteer project geared at building community and developing media skills.

Hope you can join us! Sadleir House - 751 George Street North,
