First Friday Art Crawl

#ffac!! Art doesn't just hang on the wall! Art is lived and experienced. Join dance artist, Sarah Rudnicki, and percussion artist, Mel Blondel, for an eclectic evening of belly dancing and drumming!! You can observe, and/or participate in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Community artist, Deb Reynolds, will offer ways to respond to the energy in the room using a variety of art materials. Light refreshments will be provided by food artist, Kate King-Fisher. 

Sarah Rudnicki - Performance and art took her to the world of middle eastern dance, studying took her to Toronto, Montreal, New York, and beyond to train with various masters. Sarah studied intensively with the arabesque school in Toronto, and with the current director of the reda troupe. A Middle - Eastern Dance artist based in Peterborough, offering weekly classes, and traveling throughout southern Ontario for performances, and to facilitate workshops. The journey continues as a life long process. 

Mel Blondel is an Expressive Arts Practitioner and Drum Circle Facilitator. She leads groups through the experience of contributing to a circle of rhythm and sound making available a variety of hand drums and other percussion instruments. Mel has been facilitating drum circles for 8 years.
