Pollination Summit 2018 — Community Dialogue

Pollination Summit 2018 is a two-day celebration of native plants and local pollinators, of community-stewarded urban beehives, of pollinator gardens, of local makers and crafters, and of discovery, storytelling and connecting to nature and each other.

This artfully hosted afternoon of participatory community dialogue closes the summit and will point the way forward to coming work in the community. 

We are guided by these questions:

HOW CAN WE REESTABLISH SACRED RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE NATURAL WORLD AROUND US?

What do people want? What do pollinators need?

WHO SHOULD COME:

This session is for everyone who feels called to join in this exploration and work — though we hope you will attend all parts of the weekend! 

SPACE IS LIMITED to 50 seats. Register now to reserve your spot! We have made 20 seats available at no cost for youth and students.

SESSION DESIGN and HOSTING:

MARK WINSTON, author of “Bee Time” and co-author of “Listening to the Bees.” Professor and Senior Fellow in Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Dialogue.

BEN WOLFE, local/international community-builder and communicator. Co-creator of many participatory initiatives including Peterborough Pollinators, Peterborough Dialogues, Reimagine Peterborough and Peterborough GreenUP.
