The Harvest Moon Festival

The Harvest Moon Festival is a craft, vendor and music festival honouring the Autumnal Equinox.

The Harvest Moon is the full Moon that occurs nearest the start of the autumnal equinox (also known as the Fall Equinox). The autumnal equinox is the phase in the earth’s annual cycle around the sun in which day and night are identical in length and before night takes over and brings the coming winter.

This is a significant time of year to connect with the divine and honour the harvest. Whether that be an actual harvest of the things planted in your garden or the harvest of intentions, energy and aspirations that you have set in your garden of life!

The intention of The Harvest Moon Festival is to showcase local artisan’s creations and talents while honouring the upcoming harvest moon and sharing all that it brings with the people of Peterborough – The traditional territory of Nogojiwanong and our friends!

Join local vendors and artisans, participate in complimentary workshops, enjoy a charcuterie board in our café and revel in some hometown entertainment!

Admission is $5 - The Venue Peterborough 286 George Street North
Giveaways for the first 100 people through the door!
