Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival has been a community staple event for the past 18 years. We’ve had the same goal since day one: to make sure that women and men from across our region have access to the tests and treatments that could save their lives, right here in our community.
Everyone participating in the Festival has a story – a way in which their own life, or the life of a friend, colleague or loved one has been touched by breast cancer – we encourage everyone to get involved, whether it be as a volunteer, a sponsor, or a participant.
That’s why we raise money to help fund world-class breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).
The 2018 Festival raised $211,238.32, bringing our grand total to more than $3.3 million!
