Inclusive Hockey Night in Peterborough

Heads Up for Inclusion and the Peterborough Petes are hosting an Inclusive Hockey Night in Peterborough on Thursday February 6th at 7pm for the Petes VS North Bay Battalion.

This game will also be Peterborough's first #HockeyIsForEveryone, an initiative started by the NHL to promote safe and inclusive environments for players and families regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or socioeconomic status.

Tickets are $20 each and are to be purchased at the Heads Up for Inclusion office at 270 George St. N, in the basement of the Venture North building. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9-4pm.
*To support Heads Up for Inclusion and our fundraising efforts, tickets must be purchased from HUI prior to the event*

There are 8 wheelchair accessible tickets available while quantities last. For folx with a higher level of mobility, but whom still require accessible accommodation please contact HUI at (705) 876-0383.

Be sure to purchase Chuck-A-Puck for a chance to win some great prizes!
- 1st place will receive a signed hockey stick from the 2019/2020 Toronto Maple Leafs
- 2nd place will receive a signed Peterborough Petes hockey stick
- 3rd place will receive a gift certificate for dinner for 2!

HUI will also be hosting a #SocksAreForEveryone campaign where we are asking visitors to bring a new pair of socks or purchase a pair of inclusive socks from HUI at the game to play in the corn hole toss game. All socks will be donated to a local shelter, and proceeds will go to support HUI's Amigos programs. Prizes of Amigo's swag will be available.
