Ashburnham Ward Councillors Gary Baldwin and Keith Riel will host an Ashburnham Ward Meeting on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Lions Centre, 347 Burnham St.
The first half of the meeting will focus on the waste collection service changes that will begin the week of October 31, 2023, including the new weekly Green Bin service, bi-weekly garbage collection, and the requirement to use clear bags for curbside garbage collection.
The second half of the meeting will focus on housing and homelessness. City staff will provide an update on the temporary Modular Bridge Housing project on Wolfe Street and information on other City initiatives to support people who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness. An update on Housing supports and projects will also be presented.
