Peterborough Humane Society advocates for animals by improving their lives, alleviating suffering, rescuing, providing shelter, healing, facilitating adoption and reducing pet overpopulation. They are the largest animal shelter in Peterborough County and the only open admission shelter.

All dogs must be on a leash at all times. It is highly recommended to make sure your dog is up to date on their flea and tick prevention as we will be in the woods for the walk. Please ensure that your dog will feel comfortable and safe around other dogs, large group of people and children.
