RE:Connect - Spring Edition

Clean Up Peterborough will host the spring edition of RE:Connect on April 15, at the Morrow Building (151 Lansdowne St. W)

Running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., this free, family-friendly event brings together local organizations, makers and sustainability leaders to showcase practical, creative ways to reduce waste, reuse materials and rethink how everyday items are used.

Attendees can explore, learn and connect through a variety of interactive experiences:

Community Collections – Convenient drop-off opportunities for hard-to-recycle items through multiple free programs.
The Great Peterborough Clothing Swap – A large-scale community swap designed to keep clothing in circulation and accessible.
RE:Create Art Contest – A creative showcase inviting residents to transform reused materials into original works of art.
Local Vendors & Makers – Meet sustainable businesses, vintage sellers and upcyclers redefining waste as a resource.
Demonstrations & Learning Tables – Hands-on opportunities to discover repair skills, reuse ideas, and circular living strategies.
Community Connections – Meet local groups and initiatives working year-round to strengthen sustainability across Peterborough.
