New Stages is bringing seven plays, more than 40 artists to two downtown venues (Market Hall Performing Arts Centre and The Theatre on King -TTOK).

A timely drama by Michele Riml and Michael St. John Smith, unfolds at a dinner party in the B.C. mountains where wildfires burn and a wolf cull is underway

  • Munsch Goes Wild – Sunday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Market Hall

Bring the kids, bring the grandkids! Featuring four of Robert Munsch’s most beloved tales, told in the most creative ways. Adapted and performed by M. John Kennedy, directed by Dahlia Katz.

  • 12 Dinners – Sunday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at Market Hall

Don’t miss this acclaimed semi-autobiographical play about 12 dinners Canadian playwright Steve Ross shares with his parents during an eventful time in their lives.

  • Staged Reading of “I Started Collecting Teacups After My Grandma Died” and “Are We Sleeping” – Tuesday, February 24 at 7 p.m. at The Theatre on King

  • StorySLAM with Meg Murphy – Wednesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre on King
