The City of Peterborough is accelerating climate action by targeting energy inefficiency in residential buildings by establishing the Home Energy Efficiency Program (HEEP). The HEEP is planned to help Peterborough homeowners finance energy retrofits in their homes or rental properties. 

One of the goals for the HEEP is to be highly customized to our residents' and broader community needs. The City of Peterborough will be hosting virtual public workshops on Zoom for residents and community members. The purpose of these meetings is to:

• Describe the Home Energy Efficiency Program in more detail

• Gather experiences and local expertise on residential retrofits

• Report back on insights gained through the program design process

• Collect feedback on proposed program features

• Answer general program questions from participants

Individuals must register to attend the virtual workshops (link below). For those who are interested but who cannot attend, meeting recordings will be made available and posted to the ConnectPTBO project page.
