The YMCA of Central East Ontario is inviting the community to discover all the Y has to offer during a special Open House event on Saturday, August 29 at the Balsillie Family Branch.

With free admission for everyone, the day will feature a wide variety of family-friendly activities, interactive demonstrations, games, and opportunities to connect with YMCA staff and programs.

Whether you're a longtime supporter or have never visited the Y before, the Open House is designed to give community members a chance to explore the branch, meet staff, try activities, and experience the welcoming environment that makes the YMCA a hub for health, wellness, and belonging.

Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of activities, including:

• Open Swim and Water Activities

• Outdoor Games and NHL Street Hockey (weather permitting)

• Dance, Gymnastics, and Dodgeball

• Studio Demonstrations featuring Judo and Fitness

• Face Painting and Treehouse FunPrograms and Services Information Booths

• Prizes and Interactive Games

Be sure to also stop by The Good Baker for delicious food and baked goods at the on-site café (prices vary).

The YMCA encourages current members to invite friends, neighbours, and family members who may be interested in learning more about YMCA membership, programs, camps, child care, health and fitness services, and community initiatives.

The Open House is free and open to all. No membership is required to participate.
