Man Arrested For Impaired After Hit & Run

Media Release - Hit & Run, Arrest
In response to a couple of media inquiries:
On September 14th, 2011 at 9:15 pm the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service were notified of a Hit & Run accident which occurred at Sherbrooke St and Denure Dr.  The fleeing vehicle was described as a Red Dodge Caravan.  There were no injures sustained as a result of this accident.
At 9:45 pm police received a call about an erratic driver in a red van on Parkhill Rd.  Officers attended and attempted to stop the van, the driver slowed and eventually stopped on Parkhill Rd W at the entrance to St Peter's High School.
Charged with Impaired Driving, Operating a Motor Vehicle over 80, Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, Prohibited Driving and Breach of Probation is 37 year old Daniel Hutchinson of Peterborough.  Hutchinson will make his first court appearance on September 29th, 2011 to begin the process of determining his innocence or guilt.
