Peterborough Huskies To Host Special Needs Hockey International Tournament in 2017

Amazing news for an amazing team—and city. The Peterborough Huskies—a Special Needs Hockey team where anyone plays regardless of their age and ability—has announced they are hosting the Special Needs Hockey International Tournament in 2017.

The announcement was made Wednesday (July 29th) at the Peterborough Lift Lock.

This will be huge exposure for the city and tourism. Seventy-five teams and up to 1,500 players from across North America and Europe—plus another estimated 2,500 families and coaches—will be in the city March 15th to 18th, 2017.

The Huskies have captured the hearts of Peterborough and a nation, and winning this bid was so deserved.

They make dreams come true for people, and even have a baseball league now.
