The Peterborough Mosque (784 Parkhill Road W.)—whose president recently wrote this beautiful love letter to the community—will be opening its doors this Sunday (January 17th) and inviting local residents and others to explore the mosque and the beliefs and practices of those who worship there.

Several Dignitaries and community and faith leaders have also been invited.

The organizers are hosting this to thank the community for their overwhelming support—and to make them more familiar with Islam. In the spirit of dialogue, volunteers from the mosque have been working to organize the event.

The Open House takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Sunday, and will feature tours, free refreshments, and a chance to observe prayer and interact with Canadian Muslims at the mosque.
