Awesome: The Peterborough Petes Lend Practice Jerseys To Special Needs Team

The Peterborough Huskies special needs hockey team is rebranding as Electric City Maroon & White to start fresh—love the name!—but their new jerseys aren't available yet. So in an awesome gesture, the Peterborough Petes organization are lending the team their practice jerseys to use in the interim. Here are photos from Friday (November 11th) by Eileen Kimmett of the happy players practising at the Kinsmen Arena in their Petes jerseys...

"The excitement from the players when they received their Petes jerseys was incredible, and it continued into the dressing room and onto the ice," Coach Williams tells PTBOCanada. "With the announcement of the new name combined with the borrowed Petes Jerseys, it feels like a brand new team and a new beginning for all of us."
