62-Year-Old Peterborough Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle on Sherbrooke Street

The Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit are investigating after a 62-year-old Peterborough man was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 8, officers were called to Sherbrooke Street between George Street and Aylmer Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that a man had been struck while walking in a live lane of traffic.

Due to his injuries, the victim was flown to a Toronto hospital for treatment.

The road was closed for period of time as officers conducted a reconstruction investigation.
